About
Our medical team.
TeleClinic's prescribing physicians are sourced through LocumTele — independent, licensed practitioners who make every clinical decision on their own.
How it works
A physician reviews every case. Personally.
When you submit your intake questionnaire on tele.clinic, it is reviewed by a real, licensed physician sourced through LocumTele, our physician network partner — not a screening algorithm. The physician reads your health history, evaluates your suitability for treatment, and makes an independent clinical determination.
If prescribed, that same physician (or a covering partner physician in the same LocumTele practice group) oversees your monthly check-ins, adjusts your dose as needed, and is available for clinical questions through the patient portal.

Our model
Clinical independence by design
Independent physicians
All prescribing physicians on the TeleClinic platform are independent licensed practitioners. They are not employed by or financially incentivized by TeleClinic to prescribe — their clinical judgment is entirely their own.
Physician-patient relationship
When a physician reviews your intake and prescribes for you, a genuine physician-patient relationship is formed — with the same legal protections and ethical obligations as any clinical encounter.
State licensure
Every physician on our platform holds an active license in the state where you reside. We verify licensure and conduct credentialing checks before any physician is permitted to see patients on our platform.
Continuous availability
Our physician network includes providers in multiple time zones, ensuring that intake evaluations and monthly check-ins are processed promptly — typically within 24 hours.
To protect physician privacy and security, we do not publicly list the names of individual physicians on our platform. Your assigned physician will be identified to you in your patient portal upon case assignment. All physicians on the platform are in good standing with their state medical boards — you can verify licensure independently through your state's medical board website.
